A reception kiosk or “concierge podium’ is a great way to greet your guests as they enter your jewelry store. The person staffing it can ask what the customer is looking for, offer them a beverage, and explain any promotions currently going on. However, if your store is under 800 sf, it may not be the best use of space up front. It can be overkill when you can see and greet your customers easily from other areas inside your store. If you do have one, make sure it is small and branded in your color/finish palette, and displays a “welcome to” sign with your logo.
