Steins, an independently owned and operated local home and garden center (with 16 locations throughout Wisconsin), was looking to upgrade their brand, and the look, layout and function of their stores when they reached out to Retailworks.
The first phase was to conduct an analysis of current business operations, brand, mission, logo, target markets (current and future), the home and garden industry, and product lines (past, present, future). Our team then assisted in the development of new vision and mission statements, logo, color palette, and strategic plan — to produce a more relevant, vibrant and sustainable brand.
Floor plans were developed to accommodate new and seasonal product lines. New wall colors, display vignettes and wayfinding signage were introduced throughout the store. A large branded service counter was designed to welcome entering customers. Some departments received new flooring, fixtures and lighting. On the exterior, a new color palette, large format window graphics, branded signage and awnings over the Steins Garden & Home checkout areas, were all incorporated to help update and unify the façade.
