Decades ago, baby boomers led the flight to the suburbs creating opportunities for new stores in far-flung municipalities. Today, those same baby boomers are moving back to the city. Thus, the new retail hot spots have a neighborhood feel and are in Milwaukee County, close to the heart of the community, said Sandy Golden, senior vice president of retail services at CBRE Group Inc., Milwaukee.+
